Six Brothers from Oviedo Lodge #243 traveled to Orange Lodge #36 in Apopka Friday, June 27th to bring back the R:.W:. Ray T Cox Memorial Traveling Gavel!
We enjoyed fellowship with our Brothers from Orange Lodge, and enjoyed simply sitting in the midst of Florida Masonic history - as Orange Lodge is the oldest continually used Masonic Lodge in the state!
Rumor has it that the Gavel may not be with us for very long... so come see us while you can! And as always, the Brothers of Oviedo Lodge look forward to being visited by our travelling Brethren!
In the words of the late R:.W:. Ray T Cox - travel, travel, travel!!!
At our 2nd Stated Communication this month, Oviedo Lodge hosted another Ladies Program, which was a fun and interactive presentation of The Pampered Chef!
This premier direct seller of high quality kitchen tools is committed to developing multipurpose kitchen tools, providing expert cooking tips and creating simple recipes that enhance shared mealtime and suit busy lifestyles.
Dianna Williamson, wife of our Past District Deputy Grand Master Larry Williamson, graciously coordinated and performed the presentation. And the guys were excited to find a tasty tray of home made treats that the ladies had prepared during the evenings presentation!
If you missed it, but would like to place an order AND help out your Lodge, go to http://new.pamperedchef.com/pws/diannaw before Monday, June 30th to place your order. Mention Oviedo Lodge in the order and help us get some great tools for our Lodge Kitchen!
Oviedo Lodge was well represented this past weekend at the Bahia Shrine's Spring Ceremonial in Ormand Beach! The weather was perfect, and everyone enjoyed a great getaway weekend!
In typical Shrine fashion, the "hospitality" was definitely in abundance!!
